Today I’ll be addressing vitamin D deficiency. It usually goes undetected being the most underestimated reason for a lot of things.
Normal Vitamin D level and Range
INSUFFICIENCY : 20-<30 ng/ml
SUFFICIENCY/Normal: 30-100 ng/ml
TOXICITY : >100 ng/ml
What problems arise from the deficiency

Treatment
Recommended daily allowance (RDA)
19-70 years: 600 IU (15 mcg)/day
Pregnant or lactating women: 600 IU (15 mcg)/day
60k capsules are available in the market which is to be taken once a week. A full course comprises of taking these once a week capsules for 3 months (12 weeks).
Injections are also available in market 6 lakh and 3 lakh units which are to be taken only once a month.
Pediatric drops are also available but before you start with any one of them it is always advisable to confirm the condition via a blood test and consult with your doctor and start with the treatment.
